Four user roles exist with an account. These names are derived from Ensim WEBppliance and thus we kept them.

Contents

Administrator

An Apis Networks staff member that manages the server.

Reseller

Resellers have access to a watered-down Administrator control panel and are able to manage domains created under that account.

Site Administrator

The administrator over an account. There may only be one Site Administrator login for a given account; this login is the one specified during account sign-up. They have the largest array of options for tweaking parameters on a site. Site Administrators can also manage sub-users (User Administrators) in an account, e.g. change password for a user, remove a user, add a new one, edit user's files.

In apnscp, to access the Site Administrator interface, visit http://yourdomain.com/cpadmin/. In apnscp esprit, since the login interface is unified between all four roles, just use https://beta.cp.''server name''.apisnetworks.com/. Site Administrators also have access to Urchin and phpMyAdmin/phpPgAdmin.

User Administrator

All users created through the "Manage Users" option in the control panel are User Administrators. They have access to managing just their files and account information. Under apnscp, this can be accessed at http://yourdomain.com/cpuser/ and for apnscp esprit use https://beta.cp.''server name''.apisnetworks.com/.
