Add User
From apnsGuide
Uses
- Create a new user on your account and optionally enable FTP/SSH access. E-mail is implicitly setup unless removed via "Manage Mailboxes" after user creation.
Adding a User using apnscp esprit
Via the Quick Menu go to User Management and then Add User. There you will need to entire required information for a new user; a username, i.e. "bob"; a full name, i.e. Bob Bobberty; and a password.
Next you need to define what options the new user can make use of on your hosting and what this user's disk quota will be. Leaving the disk quota at 0 will allow the user to store "unlimited" amounts of data within your hosting, or at least until you have reached the maximum your package allows.
Checking off the "FTP" box will allow the user FTP access to their own directory on the server.
Checking off the "CGI" box will allow the user to make use of CGI-Bin scripts.
Checking off the "SSH Secure Shell" will give the user SSH access to the server.
Lastly, you are given the option to create a subdomain for the user. If this is checked off, "bob.domain.com" will be created, where the user can host his/her little webpage, for instance.
